📋 Clinical Role & Daily Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pain evaluations, workups, and treatment planning
  • Conduct image-guided interventional procedures including spinal injections, nerve blocks, and other pain management techniques
  • Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care for complex pain patients
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Supervise and work alongside ARNPs and Physician Assistants
  • Participate in fellowship training activities as a core training site

✅ Qualifications & Requirements

Education

MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited residency program (Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Neurology)

Board Certification

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine (Fellowship preferred)

License

Active or eligible Florida Medical License

Experience

Interventional pain management skills with strong procedural competency

DEA

Valid Federal DEA Certification

Additional

BLS/ACLS certified; excellent bedside manner and team-oriented approach
