Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, report, and document changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications and track therapeutic response and side effects.

Education

Certification
BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Experience
At least 1 year of acute-care nursing experience is highly preferred; graduate nurses may be considered and trained for the inpatient setting.
Additional Skills
Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills; competence with electronic patient management systems.
