Responsibilities

  • Closely observe patients and note specific procedures and prescribed medications for each case.
  • Assist physicians with physical assessments and administration of treatments.
  • Monitor vital signs and ensure proper function of ventilators, feeding tubes, catheters, and other life-support equipment.
  • Administer IVs and medications while observing patient responses.
