Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, direct, and provide speech-language pathology services in patients’ homes and participating facilities.
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing review of each patient’s Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic testing, including audiologic screening, and deliver therapeutic interventions for speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment, document clinical changes, and communicate findings to the supervising clinician or physician.
  • Train patients in alternative communication systems when indicated and provide counseling and education to patients, families, and care-team members.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation, participate in care-coordination activities, and support discharge planning while protecting confidential patient information.

Compensation & Benefits

Primary compensation is paid on a per-visit basis. An annualized reference range is provided for context only and does not represent a guaranteed yearly salary for this PRN role. Benefits available to limited-term, variable-schedule, and per-diem associates include the following.
