Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions and provide crisis intervention with daily safety assessment.
  • Complete admissions documentation, including Social Services Admission Assessment, Suicide Risk Assessment, safety planning, and initial Care Plan goals.
  • Document daily treatment progress, group engagement, and contact notes; update Care Plan goals to remain SMART and diagnosis-specific.
  • Prepare discharge documentation and summaries, then communicate aftercare recommendations to outpatient providers, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Advocate for patients during grievances, report suspected abuse or neglect per California law, and participate in interdisciplinary staffing meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants need a qualifying master’s degree and full independent California licensure. Preferred experience includes prior healthcare and psychiatric work.
