Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Virtual) in San Francisco, CA

This virtual PMHNP role centers on independent outpatient psychiatric practice delivered entirely by telehealth to California patients. Clinicians set their own caseload and hours while focusing on evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management. The Headway platform supplies credentialing, claims handling, scheduling tools, and an integrated EHR, removing much of the administrative load typically associated with insurance-based care. The arrangement suits board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners who prefer clinical autonomy without the overhead of building a traditional brick-and-mortar practice. San Francisco serves as the listed base, yet sessions can be conducted from any appropriate location within the state. No call coverage is required, and patient volume remains under the clinician’s direct control.
