Responsibilities

  • Perform wound debridement, hematoma evacuation, biologic dressing applications, and tissue biopsies in the outpatient clinic setting
  • Supervise and support certified wound and ostomy nurses functioning in extended clinical roles
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care for complex wounds across South Sacramento, Sacramento, and Roseville locations
  • Participate in operative debridement and skin grafting procedures when consistent with individual experience and comfort level
  • Engage in case discussions and rounds with podiatry, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, endocrinology, and other specialty colleagues

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty and demonstrate substantial wound care experience. Prior work in an outpatient wound clinic or academic medical center is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Base annual compensation ranges from $320,040 to $330,000, with additional incentives available up to $44,350. The position is on the shareholder track, with full partnership eligibility after three years of service.
