Responsibilities

  • Assess, analyze, and formulate nursing diagnoses for patients with episodic or acute physical or psychosocial problems.
  • Perform critical care trauma nursing interventions, including enroute care and medical-surgical skills across ambulatory, inpatient, and patient-hold settings.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions while coordinating care for individuals, families, groups, and communities.
  • Deliver compassionate, competent care through patient education, consultation, and role modeling as an expert emergency nurse.
  • Document clinical encounters and maintain proficiency through ongoing training, education courses, seminars, and conferences.
