Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, support daily workflow, monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, and schedule procedures to maintain efficient facility capacity.
  • Complete nursing assessments, review medical history, explain procedures, educate patients and families on post-procedure vascular access care, and administer medications plus IV conscious sedation according to physician orders.
  • Lead Continuous Quality Improvement efforts, implement facility action plans, respond to adverse events, protect medical record integrity, and uphold all regulatory, OSHA, and company compliance standards.
  • Inspect and oversee facility equipment, maintain a safe environment, manage medication inventory and controlled substances, and control supply use to meet cost goals.
  • Maintain regular communication with physicians, participate in Governing Body and CQI meetings, supervise direct patient care staff when needed, and assume Facility Manager duties in the manager’s absence.

Daily work balances hands-on clinical support with operational coordination and quality accountability.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must possess current North Carolina RN licensure, ACLS certification, and substantial experience in procedural or critical care settings.
