This role is based at AHN Neighborhood Hospital locations operated by Emerus in the Pittsburgh area. The primary site is the Brentwood facility at 3290 Saw Mill Run Blvd., with required floating between Brentwood and the McCandless site. Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and X-ray imaging exams according to established protocols and notify the physician on duty of results
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems
  • Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with COLA and CLIA regulations while maintaining reagent and consumable supplies
  • Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care; perform basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse direction and serve as ER Technician when needed

Documentation of all analytic activities, quality control, proficiency testing, and quality assessment activities is required, with records retained for a minimum of two years.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must meet Pennsylvania state requirements for medical radiologic technologists and hold current ARRT credentials. CT certification is preferred at hire and required within 12 months for the Pennsylvania market.
