Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead clinician on the child’s treatment team and design the individualized behavioral treatment plan.
  • Model interventions for Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) workers and parents or caregivers.
  • Implement behavioral interventions aimed at stabilizing targeted behaviors.
  • Oversee TSS implementation of the treatment plan and submit weekly clinical documentation.
  • Educate and empower families while promoting age-appropriate behavior in natural settings.

Services focus on specific interventions that stabilize the client and support the family within the home, school, or community environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must meet education, experience, and clearance standards for work within Pennsylvania’s child-serving systems.

Education
Licensed Doctoral-level Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Master’s (or PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related mental health field with documented training in behavioral modification (official transcripts required if offer is made)
Preferred Licensure
LPC, LSW, LCSW, or Behavioral Specialist license strongly preferred
Required Experience
At least one year working in the CASSP system (employed by or under contract to CYS, Juvenile Justice, Mental Health, Special Education, or D&A with children)
Preferred Experience
Previous BSC or MT experience and experience writing treatment plans
Transportation & Clearances
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration required; recently updated Acts 33/34 and FBI clearances (Dept. of Public Welfare) required for interview
Additional Skills
Excellent computer and communication skills
