Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct ABA therapy sessions in homes, schools, communities, or clinics according to individualized treatment plans.
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills under BCBA supervision.
  • Collect, organize, and document session data accurately to support progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families, including participation in team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed to support operations.

All clinical work occurs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates may enter as a Behavior Technician without current certification or as an already credentialed RBT. Paid training pathways differ by status.

Experience
Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (internships or related roles accepted)
Transportation
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Screenings
Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review
BT Pathway
Complete 40-hour paid training over 2 consecutive weeks, complete precepting, and pass the RBT exam within 45 days
RBT Pathway
Active RBT certification in good standing; complete 1 week of paid training followed by precepting

Compensation & Benefits

Starting rates are set by certification status. Final pay is determined by experience, training, and education. Full-time employees receive a defined benefits package.

  • BT starting rate $22.25 per hour; RBT starting rate $24.60 per hour
