Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the survey process for accreditation and certification of long-term care facilities that serve residents.
  • Set priorities independently and as part of a survey team when completing required survey tasks.
  • Support internal and external customers through quality improvement and compliance activities across multiple facilities.
  • Apply independent decision-making to resolve conflicts or controversy that arise during the survey process and seek assistance when needed.

The core function of this position is conducting surveys that determine whether long-term care facilities meet applicable federal standards for resident care and operations.

Licensure
Current LCSW license required
CMS Training
