Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care for patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions.
  • Assess patient pain regularly and implement effective pain management strategies with timely reassessment.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, and interventions as ordered by providers while documenting thoroughly in the electronic health record.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and work proactively to anticipate concerns during the ED encounter.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

The role centers on rapid clinical decision-making and continuous patient monitoring within a freestanding emergency setting that maintains seamless escalation pathways to higher-level resources when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must hold current Florida RN licensure (or be compact-eligible) and bring established emergency nursing experience. Required certifications follow a staged timeline after hire.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is determined by experience within the posted range. The package includes standard HCA benefits with additional education and family support options.
