Responsibilities

  • Perform expert wound assessments in the home, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage ongoing care according to evidence-based guidelines and company protocols.
  • Lead and mentor wound care nurses in the assigned market to promote consistent best practices and improved clinical results.
  • Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other clinicians to support patient-centered, interdisciplinary care.
  • Monitor clinical quality, compliance, and performance metrics relative to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Serve as the primary clinical resource and subject-matter expert for wound care questions within the market while contributing to quality improvement, product reviews, and protocol refinement.

Patient and caregiver education on wound management and recovery expectations is integrated into each visit.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must hold advanced practice credentials and demonstrate substantial wound care experience, ideally in home or post-acute settings, along with leadership capability.

Master’s or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
License
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience with a strong focus on wound care, preferably including in-home or post-acute settings, plus demonstrated leadership experience
Certification
Wound care certification such as WOCN or equivalent preferred
Additional Credentials
Current DEA registration as required for prescribing; BLS certification; valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; proficiency with electronic health records and digital wound management tools

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers a defined annual salary range supported by standard benefits and mileage reimbursement for field visits.
