Responsibilities

  • Coordinate education, treatment planning, laboratory work, and follow-up with the broader renal care team.
  • Support patients enrolled in both peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis programs.
  • Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and escalate concerns according to established clinical protocols.

The nurse also contributes to quality initiatives, collaborates with physicians and support staff, and follows the Clinical Advancement Program pathway for professional growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

This CAP 1 designation is intended for registered nurses beginning or early in their nephrology practice.

Annual compensation for this position falls within the following range.
