Licensed Mental Health Therapist in New York City, NY

This independent telehealth role allows fully licensed New York clinicians to deliver outpatient psychotherapy to adolescents and adults while using Headway’s platform for insurance participation and practice operations. Working entirely remotely, therapists conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and provide ongoing counseling through integrated video and EHR tools. The model removes much of the administrative load associated with accepting insurance, including free multi-payer credentialing and claims handling. Clinicians retain control over their schedule and caseload size, enabling gradual practice growth without traditional office overhead. Common clinical presentations include anxiety, depression, and life stressors. The arrangement suits master’s-level providers (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent) who already hold an NPI and malpractice coverage and prefer clinical autonomy paired with reliable payment processing for insured sessions.
