Education Pathways
Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or a biological, chemical, or physical science plus an approved medical laboratory technologist training program; or baccalaureate degree with MLT/CLT certification plus three years of full-time clinical laboratory experience and required science coursework; or baccalaureate degree with 50-week military laboratory training plus three years of experience and required coursework; or baccalaureate degree with five years of full-time clinical laboratory experience and required science coursework
National Certification
Must be eligible for or possess current MT registration/certification (ASCP or NCA)
State License
Must be eligible for or possess an active Tennessee Medical Technologist license
Preferred Credential
Tennessee Supervisory license preferred
