Travel Registered Nurse – Hospice

This travel assignment is based in Los Angeles and places the registered nurse in a home healthcare hospice environment. Nursing care is delivered directly in patients’ residences rather than in a hospital or facility unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care for assigned hospice patients in the home according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Collect and analyze health data, assess patient needs, develop care plans, implement interventions, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and monitor for therapeutic response and adverse effects.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff to support safe and effective care.
