Responsibilities

  • Perform AICD and permanent pacemaker implantations, atrial fibrillation ablations, left atrial appendage closure device placement, and other electrophysiology procedures.
  • Evaluate patients with arrhythmias, interpret diagnostic findings, and develop treatment plans.
  • Coordinate ongoing rhythm and device management with the in-house device clinic and multidisciplinary team.
  • Document clinical encounters and procedures.
  • Participate in teaching medical residents and cardiology fellows as part of faculty involvement in an ACGME-accredited program.
