Responsibilities

  • Assess student learning styles and develop individualized remediation plans
  • Deliver one-on-one and small-group tutoring on core nursing concepts and clinical skills
  • Set up, facilitate, and clean up simulation-based experiences using high-fidelity patient simulators
  • Oversee daily simulation lab operations, including equipment maintenance and supply ordering for approximately 300–350 learners
  • Staff open lab sessions and supervise students during technical skills practice and remediation
  • Document student academic progress and report findings to academic leadership and the retention committee

Additional duties include assisting faculty with clinically based simulation scenario development and supporting Next Generation NCLEX workshops.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must meet the following education, licensure, certification, and experience criteria.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master of Science in Nursing preferred

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
Certifications
Current BLS CPR certification required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred
Experience
At least two years of bedside nursing experience

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000 per year. Actual pay is adjusted based on experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibility level.
