Responsibilities

  • Serve as first contact for patients and discuss symptoms while gathering and entering information into the electronic medical record
  • Take vital signs, administer injections and vaccines, and perform ordered diagnostic tests

  • Sterilize and clean equipment and maintain examination rooms

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must present current national Medical Assistant credentials along with documented back-office experience that includes phlebotomy and medication administration.

Experience
At least 3 years of Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy experience in back-office direct patient care
Credentialing

Compensation & Benefits

The stated annual range reflects starting base pay for full-time employment. The role is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan tied to company and/or individual performance. Humana offers a comprehensive benefits package.
