Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new leads at least 1–2 hours every day and maintain activity records to support productivity.
  • Secure referrals from families already served and present pre-planning options to those families and their referrals.
  • Respond to family inquiries in a timely manner, listen to stated needs, and present relevant solutions.
  • Prepare for appointments, complete required procedures accurately, and follow through on requests or concerns.
  • Work with funeral directors, location managers, and other staff to connect at-need service, aftercare, and future planning.

Daily work centers on outreach, relationship development with families, and coordination inside the local funeral home and cemetery team.

Education
High school equivalency and 1–2 years of college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
1–2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
Licenses
Current state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record; insurance license if required by Florida law
Certification
Must pass the company’s internal presentation certification within 30 days of hire
Additional Skills

Compensation & Benefits

The position is commission-based. Total earnings depend on individual sales performance.
