Responsibilities

• Serve as Collaborative Physician in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the NP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement, including any state-specific collaborator requirements.
• Perform periodic quality reviews of randomly selected Nurse Practitioner patient charts at a minimum 5% sample rate through an online system that issues email notifications for assigned reviews.
• Remain available by phone or other electronic means during Monday–Friday hours of operation to consult with Nurse Practitioners on escalated patient care questions.
• Engage in professional dialogue with Nurse Practitioners about patient care activities as needed under the collaborative agreement.

Core duties consist of structured chart oversight and consultation support rather than direct patient encounters.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay is structured as a flat rate plus a volume-based component tied to completed health assessments in each pay period.
