Responsibilities

  • Assist with setup, serving, and cleanup for the congregate nutrition program.
  • Assist in the supervision of volunteers and/or staff in the meal program and specific center projects as directed.
  • Assist with clerical and statistical reporting for the nutrition program and other center activities.
  • Assist in developing activity programs, organizing activity leaders, scheduling activities, promoting participation, and providing materials and supplies.

The Nutritional Aide reports to the Manager of Center Services and supports the center coordinator in the daily operations of the meals program and related center activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, meet the listed communication and interpersonal requirements, and obtain ServSafe Food Handlers certification within one year of hire.

Compensation & Benefits
