Responsibilities

  • Take and record vital signs; measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
  • Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report them to a supervisor.
  • Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, transfers, positioning, turning, and other activities of daily living.
  • Provide skin care, contribute to resident assessments and plans of care, and deliver nursing rehabilitation/restorative services.
  • Care for residents with dementia, offer emotional and social support, promote resident rights and dignity, protect personal belongings, and report suspected abuse or neglect.

Additional expectations include following the supervisor’s schedule of resident needs, informing leadership of concerns, maintaining familiarity with emergency equipment and evacuation plans, attending required training and meetings, and adhering to all Senior Lifestyle Corporation policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should meet basic education or experience thresholds and demonstrate the ability to function effectively in a senior care team environment.

Education or Experience
High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination
Preferred Setting Experience
Work in skilled, sub-acute, assisted living, or memory care settings
Licensure
CNA licensure if required by the state
Core Skills
Basic computer skills; proficient verbal and written communication; ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely
Attributes
Dedicated, compassionate, and energetic; English fluency preferred

Compensation & Benefits
