Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face psychiatric evaluations, re-evaluations, and medication management; prescribe and adjust regimens after assessing contraindications.
  • Provide Medication Assisted Treatment with FDA-approved medications such as buprenorphine, including support for tapering and withdrawal management.
  • Complete documentation in ICANotes using appropriate CPT and HCPCS codes; perform peer reviews and batch audits of treatment plans, referrals, and notes.
  • Serve as Supervising Provider on Duty; offer clinical oversight and consultation to therapists, nurses, and other prescribers.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, clinical supervision, quality reviews, and daily administrative report-outs on designated days.
  • Support primary care services such as chronic disease management and health screenings at the freestanding clinic when assigned.

Documentation and services must align with COMAR, CARF, and Medicaid standards. The position may also include interim leadership support for program or administrative functions when coverage is needed.

Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience, credentials, and available budget. Eligible employees may access the following benefits.
