Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and obtain focused histories specific to allergic and sinus conditions.
  • Diagnose and manage allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma through individualized plans that include medications and immunotherapy.
  • Order and interpret allergy testing, sinus imaging, and pulmonary function studies.
  • Perform and supervise in-office procedures such as allergy shots, sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT), and nasal endoscopy.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care related to sinus procedures and complete accurate EHR documentation within expected timeframes.

Daily work centers on evaluation, treatment planning, and procedural support within the outpatient allergy and sinus service line.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must meet core licensure and experience thresholds for independent advanced practice in Texas outpatient specialty care.

Education
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Experience
Minimum 3 years of clinical practice as an NP or PA
License
Current Texas NP or PA license in good standing
Certifications
BLS or ACLS certification; valid Texas driver’s license
Preferred Background
Outpatient specialty or allergy/immunology experience and familiarity with EHR systems; strong procedural aptitude for supervising immunotherapy

Compensation & Benefits

Part-time base pay is structured within the stated annual range, with additional performance-linked incentives and standard professional supports.

Schedule & Work Environment

Primary Coverage Monday and Thursday at Lakeway; Friday at South Austin
Clinic Hours Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Additional Coverage PRN support at nearby clinics as needed for PTO or volume
Call & Weekends No weekends or call required; documentation expected within 24 hours of encounters
