📋 Daily Clinical Responsibilities

In this weekday ED coverage role, you will serve as the primary representative for the ACS&CC service in the emergency department. This includes performing thorough patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations for trauma and surgical consultations. You will respond to Level 3 trauma activations, manage boarded patients awaiting admission, and perform necessary procedures and wound care directly in the ED setting.

Additional duties involve coordinating discharges, arranging follow-up care, and providing backup support to inpatient APP teams when needed. Accurate and timely documentation in the EMR is essential, along with effective communication across the multidisciplinary care team.
