Location & Practice Overview

This opportunity is listed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but the position is fully remote and intended for actively practicing physicians based in the United States. Rather than providing clinical services in a hospital or outpatient practice, contributors work independently through an AI evaluation platform, reviewing structured electronic health record (EHR) cases and assessing the medical accuracy of AI-related benchmark materials. The role does not involve an assigned healthcare facility, scheduled patient appointments, or direct clinical care.

Geographic Scope United States (Remote)
Practice Setting Medical AI Evaluation Platform
Work Format Independent Clinical Case Review
Engagement Non-Clinical, Project-Based

Responsibilities

  • Review structured EHR vignettes, including patient histories, clinical findings, and diagnostic information, for medical accuracy and completeness.
  • Evaluate proposed diagnoses and treatment recommendations against the information presented and established evidence-based medical standards.
  • Assess clinical reasoning chains to determine whether conclusions are logically supported by the facts in each case.
  • Evaluate benchmark questions and distractor answers for accuracy, clarity, clinical relevance, and appropriate difficulty.
  • Identify weaknesses in clinical scenarios, including missing information, ambiguous wording, and details that inadvertently reveal the intended answer.
  • Write concise clinical rationales, correct inaccurate reasoning traces, and participate in physician adjudication when independent assessments differ.

The assignment focuses on the quality and reliability of medical evaluation materials rather than diagnosing or treating individual patients.

Qualifications & Requirements

This project is designed for actively practicing U.S. physicians with established clinical experience and the ability to evaluate complex medical scenarios across multiple specialties. Applicants must meet the project's physician credentialing and clinical background requirements.

Medical Degree
MD or DO from a program qualifying for U.S. physician licensure.
Licensure
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license, subject to verification during onboarding and periodic re-verification.
Training
Completed residency training or board certification in an appropriate medical specialty.
Clinical Experience
Recent direct patient-care experience and broad diagnostic and treatment knowledge. Internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine backgrounds are particularly relevant.
Language
Strong written English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is calculated per accepted task rather than through a guaranteed hourly wage. The hourly-equivalent figure reflects the potential earning rate based on estimated task completion time. Actual earnings depend on the volume of available assignments and the number of tasks approved under project quality standards.

  • Compensation: Up to $100 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task.
  • One-time $50 onboarding reward after the first approved production task.
  • Higher compensation rates for selected quality-assurance and physician-adjudication assignments.

Project Duration Time-Limited; Exact Duration Not Specified

Patient Population & Clinical Setting

The project uses structured, written clinical scenarios rather than real patient encounters. No patient examinations, consultations, or treatment activities are part of the assignment.

Medical Coverage General and Internal Medicine with Multi-System Cases
Case Complexity Variable Diagnostic and Treatment Scenarios
Patient Interaction No Direct Patient Contact

Clinical Reasoning Quality Assessment of logical consistency between patient findings, reasoning steps, and final answers.
